Description

Mahaguard NMB is a liquid bituminous elastomeric waterproofing membrane, specially designed from a blend of special resin and rubber. It is an extremely flexible coating that can be efficiently applied to any thickness by roller or squeegee creating a fully adhered waterproofing coating with no wastage. It is water based waterproofing coating.

Typical Application

• It is used for concrete roofs, polyurethane foam slabs, polyester built up roofs, maintenance of existing roofs, masonry and concrete walls bathrooms, basements, bridges, decks, podium areas, metal surfaces, brickwork, asphalt & corrugated asbestos etc.

• It can be used as sandwich membrane in new construction and as a surface treatment on existing slabs.

• Protective coating in infrastructure projects in civil engineering on non-trafficked areas.

Dr. Fixit Pidicrete WP is a high solid content (47%) acrylic copolymer liquid, which when mixed with cement, forms a matrix hence provides excellent waterproofing properties. It can also be used as a bonding agent for new to old cementitious substrates as an additive for repair mortars.

Coverage:

• As a waterproofing coating: 30-35 sq.ft./ kg in 2 coats
• As a mortar modifier: 5 kg of Dr. Fixit Pidicrete WP per 50 kg of cement
• As a bonding agent: 45 – 50 sq.ft./ kg per coat

USES  Roof slabs – flat or sloping, chajjas, folded plate roofs, vaulted roofs, domes etc.  Flooring, external walls.  Sunk portion of bathrooms, toilets, balconies, etc.  Overhead or underground water tanks and other large reservoirs.  Mortars for filling joints of C.I. or any other drainage pipes.  As an admixture for providing waterproof plaster to external walls especially in high rise buildings.  As waterproof additive to any cement based paints used as a finishing coat.
