Nitofl or Sol does not aff ect the concrete. Properties Appearance : Clear liquid Specifi c gravity : 0.88 Temperature: Should not be applied when the surface temperature of the substrate is above 500C. Specifi cation Clause The cleaning agent shall be Nitofl or Sol, a low boiling solvent for industrial cleaning needs. The cleaning agent shall not have any adverse eff ect on the concrete / steel substrate. Application instructions Surface preparation Ensure surface should be free from dirt & debris.Do not apply solvent on wet substrate. Application Saturate clean waste cotton/cloth with Nitofl or Sol. Thoroughly wipe the specifi c area to be cleaned till paint/grease is removed. Use dry cloth to wipe the substrate clean. For larger areas, mechanical scrubber is recommended for effective cleaning after wetting the aff ected area with Nitofl or Sol. Limitations Nitofl or Sol is most eff ective for removing freshly applied materilas.Hardened materials(Such as epoxies, urethanes and similar products) can only be removed mechanically. . Materials like Wax and resin based curing compounds can be removed even after hardening. Please consult Fosroc for clarifi cations Estimating Supply Nitofl or Sol : 5 ltr, 20 ltr Storage Nitofl or Sol has a shelf life of 12 months when stored in unopened containers under normal warehouse conditions. Precautions Health & Safety Nitofl or Sol should not come into contact with skin and eyes or be swallowed .Some people are sensitive to epoxy resins, hardeners and solvents. Gloves, goggles and barrier creams must be used. Ensure adequate ventilation and avoid inhalation of vapours. Nitofl or Sol should be washed from skin immediately with soap and water. Should accidental eye contamination occur with any of the above products, it should be washed well with plenty of water and medical advice should be sought. If swallowed medical attention should be sought immediately. Vomiting should not be induced. Fire Nitofl or Sol is fl ammable. Do not expose to naked fl ames or other sources of ignition. Do not smoke while handing the materials. Containers should be tightly sealed when not in use. In the event of fi re, extinguish with Carbondioxide or foam type extinguishers.
