Ensure that all surface area clean, dry & free from all loose dirt, dust oil grease or any other containment. This may impair adhesion. Metal surface should be cleaned & degreased. The tip of the Nozzle is cut according to the width of the surface and fixed to the Applicator. The Cartridge package is cut from one edge and fixed to a suitable gun. The cap cut is screwed to the Cartridge cylinder of the gun The joints should be filled at one time and without gaps during the application. Ÿ Ÿ The surface of Sealant applied in the joints should be smoothened with a dampened spatula or by hand immediately before skin Formation. If used, the adhesive tape should be removed afterwards. The opened packages should be consumed as quickly as possible. The contaminate areas and used tools should be cleaned with white spirit or alcohol within 10 minutes. It is cleaned only mechanically after cured. Joint width/depth ratio should be 2:1.

The so-called “capillary pores” (on average 13-16 percent by volume) which are due to a generous addition of mixing water. The additional mixing water is used to obtain sufficient compactness and workability. Owing to these capillary pores, concrete is always more or less pervious to water or hygroscopic. As opposed to conventional waterproofing products, MC-Special Plus provides integral waterproofing properties by combining two characteristics into one specially designed product. These properties which give Your Concrete the Extra Edge in Protection against water ingress are: 1. Reduction of Capillary Pores: Special additives in MCSpecial Plus make the concrete more workable (increases slump) at the same w/c ratio or provide a reduction in w/c at the same workability levels. This property helps concrete achieve excellent compactability thereby reducing capillary pores. 2. Hydrophobic Pore Blocking Mechanism: In addition to reduction of capillary pores, MC-Special Plus has special additives, which on one hand causes contraction of capillaries and on the other hand converts the waterabsorbing capillary forces into water repellant capillary forces due to the hydrophobic effect of the constituent. Thus water is pushed out of the capillary pores and the concrete is kept dry. A combination of the two properties above provide the concrete an efficient, reliable and durable waterproofing protection against rains, ground water, moisture, dampness, humidity etc. MC-Special Plus is an integral waterproofing compound in powder form, used for all types of concrete, requiring water impermeability. It conforms with IS 2645. It highly improves the durability of structure and prevents the shrinkage cracks which are developed during curing making the concrete structure and plaster stronger. It prevents moisture from entering throughout the concrete and mortar structures. FAIRFIBRE P also works as a secondary reinforcement in concrete. The addition rate of FAIRFIBRE P varies with grade of concrete and mortar. For optimum performance 125 gms pack should be used with 50 kg. of cement. SHELF LIFE & STORAGE FAIRFIBRE P will have a shelf life of 36 months in unopened condition when kept in dry conditions at a temperature between 5ºC to 45ºC.
