Mixing Using a slow speed drill with a suitable mixing paddle, mix base, hardener components and add the filler in small quantities to get the required consistency. It is important that all the components are intermixed thoroughly. Application Due to the easy workability of the product, a variety of instruments such as trowel, scraper, filling knife can be used. After mixing, material can be taken directly from the can, or subdivided on to spot boards for individual applications. Tool cleaning Clean the tools immediately after use before the material cures. Use Nitoflor Sol for cleaning the tools. Cured material can only be removed mechanically. Limitations Nitocote VF is not suitable for application below 100 C and above 400 C. Cured Nitocote VF is not suitable for subzero temperatures. Uses Nitomortar S is used for the fast and permanent reinstatement of concrete, particularly where high strength, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance are required. The product is designed for horizontal use but can be applied vertically, although generally in thinner sections. It is ideally suited for acid tanks, sea walls, industrial fl oors and for use as a bedding mortar. Nitomortar S can be used for emergency repairs where fast strength gain is important. TECHSEAL RDL 941 EH (BS-5212) are two component sealant based on THIOKOL – Polysulphide liquid elastomer. It consists of a ‘base’ compound and accelerator (curing agent). Method of Application Application procedure may vary slightly depending upon site conditions. The general recommended guidelines for the application of the self adhesive waterproofing system are as follows: 1 SURFACE PREPARATION The surface shall be cleaned thoroughly of all contaminants like dust, traces of curing compound, oil and grease. All surface imperfections, protrusions, structurally unsound and friable concrete must be removed and repaired with a suitable concrete repair mortar. 2 PRIMING Apply Dr. Fixit Torchshield Primer @ 4-6 sq.mtrs./litre to a clean, smooth and dry surface by brush or roller. Allow the primer to dry prior to the application of the membrane. As the viscosity of the primer is low, it easily penetrates into the concrete pores which promote the adhesion between the membrane and the concrete surface. In addition to that the primer also acts as a binder for the dust which gets accumulated on the concrete surface even after cleaning. 3 ALIGNMENT Start the installation of all membrane plies from the low point, so that the flow of water is over or parallel to the plies, but never against the laps. RITESEAL  (Cementitious Waterproofing System) is a cementitious based single component, highly polymer modified, flexible waterproof coating for all kind of cementitious surfaces. Design Criteria Nitofl or EU5 is designed for application upto 5mm thickness.
