Dr. Fixit Epoxy Injection Grout is a solvent free crack injection material composed of very low viscous liquid epoxy resin & ahardener system. Dr. Fixit Epoxy Injection Grout is used to seal & inject cracks in concrete floors, walls & structures because it provides deep penetration, shrink free solid mass, strong bonding inside the cracks and excellent resistance to honey combing & chemicals. Features & Benefits Excellent bond to concrete substrate Low viscosity, Deep penetration Shrink Free Chemical Resistant Suitable for damp surface Method of Application 1 Surface Preparation Surface must be strong, dry, clean & free from dust, oil, grease, curing compounds, coatings & other loose materials. For better performance sand blasting, high pressure water jet cleaning, hydrochloric acid etching, mechanical grinding (by pneumatic tools) & wire brushing may be done. In case of acid etching, wash the surface till neutralization. Open the cracks & clean by blow of oil free air to ensure complete removal of dust & loose particles. 2 Placing / Fixing of Nozzles Install injection port in case of Injectin Packer, drilled hole larger than packer size & depth at least 1/3 of structural thickness Install injection port along the length of etch crack. The distance between each nipple will depend on width & depth of crack. spacing should be close enough to ensure that the resin penetrates along the cracks till the next point of injection. - In case of Injection packer, insert packer to the drill holes and fix tight to the hole - In case of Injection nipple, use Dr.Fixit Epoxy Injection Grout to fix nipple to crack surface The surface of the cracks in between the nipples should be sealed with Dr.Fixit Epoxy Injection Grout about 30-40 mm wide & 2-3 mm thick band. Incase the crack is through & through of a wall or slab, cracks at both the sides must be sealed in similar fashion. First fix the nozzles in the front portion crack, then fix the nozzles at midway points of the front nozzles. This ensures complete filling of grout into crack & surrounding areas. The repaired work shall be allowed to cure for at least 8 hrs at 35 0C, at low temperature of 5-12 0C curing time is extended and the applicator must ensure that the surface sealant has adequately cured prior to continuing the work. One end of the injection hose shall be attached to the lowest nipple on vertical cracks or to either end of the horizontal cracks. Alternative methods of resin injection are currently in use, they include the system where injection nipples are bonded to the substrate.

Mixing Using a slow speed drill with a suitable mixing paddle, mix base, hardener components and add the filler in small quantities to get the required consistency. It is important that all the components are intermixed thoroughly. Application Due to the easy workability of the product, a variety of instruments such as trowel, scraper, filling knife can be used. After mixing, material can be taken directly from the can, or subdivided on to spot boards for individual applications. Tool cleaning Clean the tools immediately after use before the material cures. Use Nitoflor Sol for cleaning the tools. Cured material can only be removed mechanically. Limitations Nitocote VF is not suitable for application below 100 C and above 400 C. Cured Nitocote VF is not suitable for subzero temperatures. Uses Nitomortar S is used for the fast and permanent reinstatement of concrete, particularly where high strength, abrasion resistance and chemical resistance are required. The product is designed for horizontal use but can be applied vertically, although generally in thinner sections. TECHSEAL RDL 941 EH (BS-5212) are two component sealant based on THIOKOL – Polysulphide liquid elastomer. It consists of a ‘base’ compound and accelerator (curing agent). In addition to that the primer also acts as a binder for the dust which gets accumulated on the concrete surface even after cleaning. 3 ALIGNMENT Start the installation of all membrane plies from the low point, so that the flow of water is over or parallel to the plies, but never against the laps. weberdry PUA Seal is a single component liquid applied solvent free polyurethane based hybrid waterproofing membrane for indoor and outdoor use. It cures to provide a seamless coating to form a tough, elastomeric membrane. It must be covered by a layer of protective screed or must be embedded in a geotextile membrane. Method of application Surface preparation • • Concrete substrate must be sound of sufficient compressive strength of min 20 MPa and pull off strength of 1.5 N/mm The moisture in the concrete floor must be less than 5% with no chance of any rising moisture or potential osmosis problems arising from the concrete. • • • Substrate should be levelled and clean without any bond inhibiting substance, like dust, dirt, grease, oil, laitance or loose particles. Laitance and deposits on concrete floor must be removed mechanically using rotary grinding equipment to achieve a rough textured surface. For old concrete substrates, weak concrete must be removed and surface defects must be treated based upon the contaminant on surface. (For detailed description refer to product data sheet of weberprim Epox 501). Crack treatment • • • • All shrinkage and non-moving cracks must be cut open in V groove. Cracks less than 2 mm thickness should be f illed with weberwall crackbond. Cracks greater than 2 mm should be repaired with cement sand mix modified by webertec SBR. Filled cracks must be coated with a coat of weberprim Epox 501 after a period of 6 hours extending 50 mm on either side of crack. Fillet preparation • • • • All horizontal and vertical joints must be f illed with 50 mm x 50 mm fillet. First apply a bond coat by mixing 1 part of cement and 1 part of webertec crete. While the bond coat is wet, lay 50 mm x 50 mm fillet using cement sand mortar admixed with webertec crete. The fillet must be allowed to stand for minimum 12 hours to gain strength and dry completely.

Description Nitoproof Damp Protect is a two component acrylic polymer modifi ed cementitious coating which consists of powder and liquid acrylic emulsion. It requires only mixing at site to produce an easily brushable coating. Nitoproof Damp Protect can simply be applied by stiff brush or roller to obtain the desired thickness. Spalled surfaces or those containing large blow holes, cracks and other such defects should be repaired using Renderoc concrete repair mortars. For further advice on suitable repair mortars, contact the local Fosroc Offi ce. Mixing/Usage Nitoproof Damp Protect is mixed as per the proportion given in the table below and mixed with a slow speed drilling Machine The powder component is added Gradually to the liquid to avoid lump formation and mix for 2-4 minutes. SOLVENT BASED BITUMEN PRIMER.Dr. Fixit Torchshield Primer is a solvent based bitumen modified primer conforming to ASTM D/41, to be used to seal and prepare the substrate prior to the installation of the Dr. Fixit Torchshield torch-on and Dr. Fixit Samshield, self adhesive membranes. In addition to that, it also acts as a binder for the dust particles which gets accumulated on the concrete surface even after cleaning.Ensure that the surface to be primed is dry and free from dust, oil, paint, curing compounds and any other contaminating materials. Stir contents well before use. Apply by brush, roller. Dr. Fixit Torchshield Primer must be dry before applying membrane.
