MCON POLY SEAL P is a two component polysulphide sealant which, when mixed together, cures to form a flexible rubber seal. It gives excellent adhesion to glass, metals, concrete, masonry, wood, plastics, and many other building substrates. It is capable of withstanding repeated extension and compression without loss of adhesion. MCON POLY SEAL P gives outstanding resistance to deterioration by weathering, oils, fuel, water, ultra violet, ozone etc, remains unaffected by most alkalis, and dilute acids. Principal Applications :- Surface preparation is the most important step before application of sealant to get best results and to avoid failure. Podiums Surface Preparation :- The joint surface must be dry, free from dust, coatings, bituminous mastics, concrete curing agents, mould release agents, oils, greases and loose particles. Clean the joint surface by wire brush and sanding with emery paper. Remove dust by compressed air blower or paint brush. Wipe out oil & grease with a cleaner.

apox Ultra is two component modified, viscous epoxy adhesive system. When both components are mixed in recommended ratios and cured appropriately at room temperature, an excellent bond strength can be achieved with most of the substrates including glass, metals, laminates, wood, textile and natural stones. Faster productivity can be achieved, if curing is performed at higher temperature between 40°C and 60°C. Curing at higher temperature is recommended to achieve optimum bond strength.

Properties: AKEMI® Standard Acrylic Sealant is a polyacrylate-based, plastic, 1-component dispersion sealant with good adhesion for sealing joints indoors (without permanent humidity). The product is characterized by the following properties: - good working and smoothing properties - hardens by means of physical drying which depends on temperature and weather - neutral odour - free of solvents and silicone - resistant to weathering and ageing - good UV-resistance - forms a skin within approx. 10 minutes - elongation stress up to max. 7.5% - paintable after hardening; due to the large variety of painting systems make a compatibility test firstApplication Area: AKEMI® Standard Acrylic Sealant is used for sealing of joints and connecting joints without elongation stress, e.g. door/window connecting joints to plaster, masonry, concrete, aerated concrete, plasterboard, connections to roller shutter boxes, wooden ceilings, stairs, lightweight walls, in sanitary areas on tile wall/ceiling connection and tile base/wall connection, for the repair of plaster cracks.Instructions for Use: 1. Contact surfaces must be firm, free of dust, grease and rust. They do not necessarily have to be dry, they can be humid, but must not be wet. 2. In order to avoid adhesion on three flanks or in the event of deeper joints use AKEMI® Back-Filling Cords. 3. Use AKEMI® Adhesive Masking Tapes to mask off surfaces in the area of the joint edges. 4. Adheres without primer to many, even absorbent surfaces. On very absorbent surfaces we recommend a prime coat with diluted acrylic resin (diluted with water in the ratio of 1:1 to 1:5). The prime coat should be dry before the joints are sealed. 5. AKEMI® Standard Acrylic Sealant contains water and is therefore sensitive to frost until it has hardened to a large extent. Do not use below +5°C. 6. Apply AKEMI® Standard Acrylic Sealant and smoothen it within 10 minutes with water or AKEMI® Smoothing Agent. 7. Pull of the masking tape used in the direction of the joint before the skin forms. 8. Hardening depends on the thickness of the layer, the temperature and above all on the atmospheric humidity (physical drying). At normal temperatures (20°C/50% RH) AKEMI® Standard Acrylic Sealant forms a firm surface skin after approximately 2 hours and is completely hardened after approximately 1 to 2 weeks. 9. Clean tools with water immediately after finishing work. Special Notes: - For professional use only. - Use afin® Liquid Glove to protect your hands. - Discolouration of the sealant occurs on tar and bitumen coated surfaces as well as on elastomers such as EPDM, APTK or neoprene. - Note the risk of rust on bare steel.
