It is breathable that allows trapped water vapour to escape from the roof. The roof or terrace is cooler and the heat transfer into the building is less so energy saving. Surface Preparation 1.1 Old & Fresh Concrete Surface  Allow fresh concrete to cure 28 days  Concrete surface must clean, strong, free of all loose dirty materials, and dust free, oil stain, wax, liquid coating/paint, concrete curing agent, grease or other stains that would affect waterproof coating adhesion.  Concrete surface where there laitance, algae, mould, remove them with grinding machine and clean surface afterwards.

DPE PRE APPLIED FULLY BONDED WATERPROOF MEMBRANE .Dr. Fixit Prebond S membrane is a preformed and pre applied HDPE fully bonded membrane that bonds to the wet concrete cast on the membrane. After the membrane bonds with the concrete it forms an integral seal which prevents lateral water migration and makes it unaffected by any substrate settlement. Reinforcement can be directly laid on top of the membrane and it does not require screed protection. Dr. Fixit Prebond S is a unique HDPE membrane comprising of a HDPE layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer which is covered by a weather proof protective sand particulate layer. The adhesive layer is activated when the concrete is poured /cast on the membrane and it enables the membrane to bond to the underside of the concrete which prevents the ingress of water into the structure as well as prevents tracking of water between the membrane and the structure thereby providing a positive side protection by virtue of an external tanking system against ingress of sub soil water. Areas of Application Dr. Fixit Triflex Metal Primer is used as a primer on various metals and rusty substrates prior to application of  Dr. Fixit Triflex range of PMMA products. The relative humidity must not exceed 85%. Preparation of the substrate } The substrate must be dry and free of loose particles, grease and oil. For best adhesion results, remove rust, rust scale, mill scale and unstable old coatings. Where blasting is impractical, loose rust, rust scale and old paint layers should be removed with a scraper or wire brush. Stable old coatings should be roughened for better adhesion. Adhesion with stable old coatings must be tested on a case-by-case basis. During application, the surface temperature must be at least 3 °C above dew point. Below that, a separating film of moisture can form on the surface

MICRO PERFORATED POLYESTER FLEECE .Dr. Fixit Triflex Glass Fleece is a white coloured special micro-perforated polyester fleece with material reinforcing and crack-bridging properties. The perforations in the fleece ensure fast absorption of the resin and reduce the risk of air inclusions. The mass per unit area is 110 g/m2. Areas of Application Dr. Fixit Triflex Fleece to be used in conjunction with Dr. Fixit Triflex range of waterproofing and detailing product.
