Nisiwa-SH Silicone based, ready to use, colourless, hydrophobic impregnation with deep penetrating property Application Notes General Nisiwa-SH is a silicone based, ready to use, colorless hydrophobic impregnating coating with deep penetrating properties. Nisiwa-SH protects the exterior masonry reliably against the penetration of moisture to interiors despite pelting rains. Through this process of prevention of transfer of moisture to interiors, an efficient waterproofing and damp proofing is obtained during spring as well as winter seasons. Nisiwa-SH does not affect the breathing capacity of impregnated surfaces. It is suitable for application on almost all types of common building materials. It is suitable for porous substrates as well as substrates with a slight absorption properties. Instructions for use Preparation of base The substrate must be sound, dry and free from other contamination. Plasters should be at least 14 days old. The cracks and other defective spots in the bases should be rectified before application of Nisiwa-SH. Handling Nisiwa-SH can be applied by means of soft brushes or by spraying. Only one coat of sufficient material per application is enough to achieve an excellent impregnation. While using spray application it is suggested to also cover the neighboring areas, including those that are not to be impregnated. In case of bases exhibiting high absorptive tendencies two coats are necessary for achieving good impregnation. When glazed, sintered or non-absorptive surfaces are to be impregnated, a preliminary trial should be carried out to check the efficiency of the application. It is also recommended to run preliminary trials where there is a possibility of strong dusting on impregnated surfaces during the process of application or when the coat is wet. Consumption The consumption of Nisiwa-SH depends upon the quality and absorptive capacity of the surfaces to be impregnated. Approximately the consumption is in the range of 150 gms/m2 per coat. If a second coat of Nisiwa-SH is necessary, it should be ensured that the prior coat of Nisiwa-SH should be thoroughly dry. TarPlastic® is a cold applied bituminous caulking compound with mineral fillers in a volatile solvent to retain its plasticity. It is available in a putty form. TarPlastic® remains plastic for a considerable length of time. The skin and interior harden to some extent after application. It conforms to the requirement of IS : 1580 – 1991.

Apply ShaliPoxy® CTE 103 I direct to metal immediately after blasting or prime surface with any epoxy primer. We recommend ShaliPrime® Zn Ph 60. Allow the primer to touch dry. • Apply first coat of ShaliPoxy® CTE 103 I on the prepared surface by brush / roller /spray. • Allow it to touch dry as per our technical data sheet (depending on ambient condition) • The 2nd coat, if required should be applied only after the first coat has dried (4 - 7 hours) at 30°C. If the application of the 2nd coat is delayed by 16 hours, wipe with a suitable solvent before application. • In case of airless spray, use standard equipment having pump ratio of 60:1 or higher, tip size of 0.58 - 0.88 mm and tip pressure 210 - 250 kg / cm2.

TECHREPEL WB is a single component silicone based clear water repellent available in water based (WB) grade. Techrepel WB is recommended for a “Hydrophobisation” (water repellency) of facades.  Damage to façade is always due to moisture, rain and surface water. Salt water damage occurs in porous building materials, only when moisture is present. The sources of saltation are deicing salts, rising dampness and reaction between the binder used in façade materials and paints. In addition to that, building materials have an inherent salt content. The moisture transports this salts to the surface of the substrate where it crystallizes out. Salts are not only deposited on the surface but it also causes hydration and crystallization pressure. This built up finally led to embrittlement and crumbling away of the surface. Acid rain i.e. sulphuric acid is a by product in the form of sulphur dioxide by burning of industrial fuels, bound to particle of dust and droplets of water, and is the primary cause for corrosion. Sulphuric acid reacts with the carbonates, the binder in mortars, lime washes, concrete, stones etc. The resultant formation is gypsum, which has a greater volume and generates bursting forces.  Attack by moss and microorganisms such as fungi and algae, which are the consequences of protected wetting of façade surfaces. The mentioned facade damages can be diminished by impregnation with water repellant agents. The main aim of this is to form “hydrophobic” or dry zone on the surface. The dry zones are not ideal for biotopes mosses, fungi, algae.  The silicon molecules of Techrepel WB do not clog the pores and so the surface retains its permeability to water vapour and “breathes”. Therefore treated buildings do not suffer from condensation damage. Buildings treated with Techrepel WB may absorb very little water and can release it again readily in dryer conditions.

Properties: AKEMI® Standard Acrylic Sealant is a polyacrylate-based, plastic, 1-component dispersion sealant with good adhesion for sealing joints indoors (without permanent humidity). The product is characterized by the following properties: - good working and smoothing properties - hardens by means of physical drying which depends on temperature and weather - neutral odour - free of solvents and silicone - resistant to weathering and ageing - good UV-resistance - forms a skin within approx. 10 minutes - elongation stress up to max. 7.5% - paintable after hardening; due to the large variety of painting systems make a compatibility test firstApplication Area: AKEMI® Standard Acrylic Sealant is used for sealing of joints and connecting joints without elongation stress, e.g. door/window connecting joints to plaster, masonry, concrete, aerated concrete, plasterboard, connections to roller shutter boxes, wooden ceilings, stairs, lightweight walls, in sanitary areas on tile wall/ceiling connection and tile base/wall connection, for the repair of plaster cracks.Instructions for Use: 1. Contact surfaces must be firm, free of dust, grease and rust. They do not necessarily have to be dry, they can be humid, but must not be wet. 2. In order to avoid adhesion on three flanks or in the event of deeper joints use AKEMI® Back-Filling Cords. 3. Use AKEMI® Adhesive Masking Tapes to mask off surfaces in the area of the joint edges. 4. Adheres without primer to many, even absorbent surfaces. On very absorbent surfaces we recommend a prime coat with diluted acrylic resin (diluted with water in the ratio of 1:1 to 1:5). The prime coat should be dry before the joints are sealed. 5. AKEMI® Standard Acrylic Sealant contains water and is therefore sensitive to frost until it has hardened to a large extent. Do not use below +5°C. 6. Apply AKEMI® Standard Acrylic Sealant and smoothen it within 10 minutes with water or AKEMI® Smoothing Agent. 7. Pull of the masking tape used in the direction of the joint before the skin forms. 8. Hardening depends on the thickness of the layer, the temperature and above all on the atmospheric humidity (physical drying). At normal temperatures (20°C/50% RH) AKEMI® Standard Acrylic Sealant forms a firm surface skin after approximately 2 hours and is completely hardened after approximately 1 to 2 weeks. 9. Clean tools with water immediately after finishing work.

 DESCRIPTION TECHCRYST 2K SUPER STRONG is a two-component, solvent-free impregnation sealing system, consisting of a modified, chloride-free mineral powder and a styrene-butadiene-dispersion. It is permanently stable, impermeable to water pressure and also acts as a vapour barrier. TYPICAL APPLICATIONS It bonds extremely well on these grounds. Techcryst 2K Super Strong is particularly suitable for basements, water tanks, swimming pools, lifts fits in buildings and for building sealing like cellar brickwork in combination with bitumen thick coating as well as belated inside sealing. Techcryst 2K Super Strong is also sealing areas on solid, mineral and gypsum-free grounds from the negative waterside. Techcryst 2K Super Strong can be applied on grounds made of concrete, masonry and cement plaster.1. PERPARATION OF SUBSTRATE The surface must be solid, supportive, gypsum free, absorbent and mostly level. Areas soiled with oil, grease or other separating layers have to be cleaned. Edges and arises have to be broken; grooves have to be made workman like using Repair Mortar. Lime plaster has to be removed (knocked off). When salt efflorescence becomes visible the surface has to be treated with Salt Guard. When applied in combination with Salt Guard, it can take pH upto 2 and temperature resistance upto 150OC. Before applying Techcryst 2K Super Strong the substrate has to be pre-wetted thoroughly in order to achieve a slightly (not shiny) humid surface. Puddles have to be removed. For indoor sealing a primer of water and SBR LATEX 1:1 is suitable to use before applying Techcryst 2K Super Strong.

CEMENT- BASED WATERPROOF COATING/ ADMIXTURE WITH CRYSTALLIZATION AND OSMOTIC PROPERTIES
DESCRIPTION TECHCRYST SUPER a special & integral waterproofing coating /admixture made of a mixture of cements, carefully controlled aggregates and special organic and inorganic additives. Its special formula improves the osmotic effect of the application allowing the penetration in the concrete through its capillary system. The product crystallizes inside sealing, waterproofing and protecting the concrete structure. It has been designed to be applied on fresh or set concrete, pre-cast concrete, concrete blocks or cement plasters but is also suitable for applications in bricks and masonry. AQUAFLEX   ROOF PROTEK is an acrylic-based waterproof coating that contains specially engineered fibres for added strength and durability. It is designed to provide a seamless, waterproof barrier for terraces, roofing, and podium surfaces. The cured coating will provide a tough, elastomeric finish that is resistant to weathering, UV radiation, and mildew growth.

An economical, no-sheen, natural look, solvent-based, penetrating sealer formulated to resist stains on porous stone and tile. May also be used as a pre-grouting sealer. Allows moisture vapor transmission. It is also a good grout sealer.

AQUA BARRIER RWP 1400 has been formulated with special polymer based rubberised emulsion to create a rigid bond to most surfaces. It forms an intact flexible waterproof membrane with extensive elongation that will expand and contract under normal substrate movement & climate changes.

HS Roof Kool & Seal is a fibre reinforced liquid applied elastomeric waterproofing membrane, impregnated with nano- fibre. The product is specially formulated with PU-Acrylic Hybrid Polymer and is meant for a dual effect of waterproofing & heat reduction. The product complies with ASTM D 6083 standard specification for roofing & ASTM E 1980 for solar reflectance.

Fixit Triflex Metal Primer is single-component quickly re-coatable metal primer with a high-grade alkyd  resin base. Areas of Application Dr. Fixit Triflex Metal Primer is used as a primer on various metals and rusty substrates prior to application of  Dr. Fixit Triflex range of PMMA products. The relative humidity must not exceed 85%. Preparation of the substrate } The substrate must be dry and free of loose particles, grease and oil. For best adhesion results, remove rust, rust scale, mill scale and unstable old coatings. Where blasting is impractical, loose rust, rust scale and old paint layers should be removed with a scraper or wire brush. Stable old coatings should be roughened for better adhesion. Adhesion with stable old coatings must be tested on a case-by-case basis. During application, the surface temperature must be at least 3 °C above dew point. Below that, a separating film of moisture can form on the surface

ESSRBOND GS500 is a hydrophobic grout based on polyurethane. Upon contact with water, ESSRBOND GS500 reacts to closed cell rubber-like foam while expanding its volume up to 27 times. The cured material is of a constant volume. Since water is not a component of the foam structure, the cured material is essentially not affected by water or dryness. The reacted material does not shrink or swell.
