Auramix 200 combines the properties of water reduction and workability retention. It allows the production of high performance concrete and/or concrete with high workability retention. Auramix 200 is a strong superplasticiser allowing production of consistent concrete properties around the required dosage. Technical support Fosroc provides a technical advisory service for on-site assistance and advice on mix design, admixture selection, evaluation trials and dispensing equipment. Dosage The optimum dosage of Auramix 200 to meet specific requirements should always be determined by trials using the materials and conditions that will be experienced in use. The normal dosage range is between 0.5 to 2.5 kg/100 kg of cementitious material. Use at other dosages Dosage outside the normal range quoted above can be used to meet particular mix requirements. Contact Fosroc for advice in these cases Effects of overdosing Over dosage may cause delay in the setting time (but better than conventional SNF based admixture ) and segregation. Packaging Auramix 200 is available in 200 litre drums and bulk tanker. Storage Auramix 200 has a minimum shelf life of 12 months provided the temperature is kept within the range of 20C to 500 C and stored in unopened containers. If temperature of the product fall outside this range then contact local Fosroc office for advice.

As soon as step 2 is over, the admixture dispersed in water (as in step-1) is to be added to the wet concrete and mix it further for2-3 minutes to get a homogeneous mix.

Concure WB is a white, low viscosity wax emulsion which incorporates a special alkali reactive emulsion breaking system. It is supplied as a white emulsion which forms a clear film on drying. This system ensures that the emulsion breaks down to form a non penetrating continuous film immediately upon contact with a cementitious surface. This impervious film prevents excessive water evaporation which in turn permits more efficient cement hydration, thus reducing shrinkage and increasing durability. Once formed, the membrane will remain on the concrete surface until eventually broken down and eroded by natural weathering. Where it is required to apply a further treatment to such concrete surface, it may be necessary to remove the membrane remaining after curing by wire brushing or other mechanical means

GUIDELINES FOR USE
Dosage of 100 - 400 ml of PARPAVER per 50 kg bag of cement is recommended. The actual dosage has to be determined at the site.
1. Take 100 - 600 ml of PARPAVER and mix with 2 liters of water.
2. Prepare mortar with 50 kg cement bag.
3. Add 70% of water to the mortar and mix for 5 minutes.
4. Add PARPAVER solution to the cement mortar.
5. Mix thoroughly and ensure the solution is spread over the entire mortar.
6. Add water to achieve the required consistency.
7. Mix thoroughly and apply in normal fashion.

STORAGE :
Stable under normal conditions. Should be stored away from direct sunlight.

HANDLING :
Use of gloves and safety glasses is recommended.

APPLICATION INSTRUCTIONS Base Concrete : The base concrete should have a minimum cement content of 300 kg/m3 with a slump of 40- 60 mm with a low water cement ratio. Method of Laying Base Concrete : The base concrete must be laid in accordance with good concrete practice either in bays or long strips. Particular care must be taken at the corners and edges of the bays to obtain good compaction and to maintain level for subsequent troweling operations. If too much of free water is seen on the surface, subsequent water content in concrete must be reduced to obviate the presence of free water. APPLICATION As a guide, the application should be made between 1 hour2 hours, i.e. when the surface water on concrete is completely evaporated. (When tested with Thumb, it leaves an impression but concrete does not stick to the Thumb). The application is made in two stages: Divide the floor in equal no. of bays. As soon as the concrete becomes tacky, make 150 to 200 mm strip on edges. Spray the material on these strips with dry shake. Apply the power Floater for a nd compaction and to get moisture on top. 2 application will be in perpendicular to first application. In one of the bays, when edges are covered with dry shake, start spraying / spreading material in mid strips. After 12 hrs. of application, this requires pond curing for a high strength, abrasion resistance floor. F
