Description Nitoproof 100 low viscosity blend of selected bitumens in solvent dries to form a high quality tough bitumen film. Nitoproof 100 can be applied by brush, roller or spray equipment to prepared surfaces for a variety of purposes. These should be carefully removed by wire or stiff brushing and finally soft brushing or filtered compressed air to remove dust. Oil and grease should be removed by the use of a proprietary degreasing agent. For optimum adhesion to steel, grit blasting to SA21/2 is recommended. Nitoproof 100 can be applied to damp concrete, brick and plaster surfaces provided there is no free surface water or bleed. A test patch is recommend where there is doubt. Application Stir thoroughly prior to use. Damp-proof membranes, vertical vapour barriers Apply a full coat of Nitoproof 100 and allow to dry. Coverage rate should be approximately 3m2 per litre. Apply a second coat of Nitoproof 100 at right angles to the first coat. Water tank and pipe line protection Two coats of Nitoproof 100 should be applied as detailed above. Where necessary the coating can be thickened at floor/wall corners by forming a 20x20mm fillet onto the first coat of Nitoproof 100 and liberally coating with a second coat of Nitoproof 100. Concrete screeds or render Where it is necessary to cover the membrane with a screed or render, clean grit 2mm nominal size should be broadcast into the wet second coat to provide a mechanical key. All loose grit should be removed prior to placing the screed/ render. (Care should be taken to ensure that the membrane is not damaged during placing of the screed). Curing compound Apply two coats of Nitoproof 100 as for damp proof membranes. This will give a curing efficiency in excess of 80% and comply with ASTM C309. Nitoproof 100 can be applied to damp concrete.

All surfaces must be clean, dry and free of loose material, oil grease, etc. } Light grit blasting in case of concrete surface ensures better cleaning & bonding. } If possible wash the concrete surface thoroughly with water to clean dirt & dust which may hamper decorative effect & bonding of the coating } Remove entirely, any previous growth of fungus & algae, by vigorous wire brushing and cleaning with water. } Treatment with proper biocide solution is recommended prior to the application to ensure complete removal of algae / fungal growth. Previously painted surfaces } Alkyd Paint if any, should be sanded thoroughly to remove completely all loose particles. Mechanical methods are strongly suggested. } Exterior surface previously coated with cement paint should be wire brushed and washed with water thourghly and allowed to dry. } Treatment for algae / fungal growth remains same as stated earlier. } All cracks should be treated appropriately using elastomeric sealant. Do not use putty.

Wire brush and clean the surface thoroughly to remove all dirt and loose particles. • Dilute ShaliKote® T-10 from its pasty consistency to light consistency by adding water in the ratio of 1:1. Apply this diluted material on the roof surface as primer. No dilution should be done in case of ShaliKote® T-10A. • When the primed surface is dry and has turned black from its original brown colour, apply ShaliKote® T-10 and allow the emulsion to break. It will turn black from its original brownish colour. • When the emulsion has set in, spread coarse sand or crushed stone chips over the surface. 

ShaliBond® BS / CS is a cold applied bituminous adhesive for fixing waterproofing membrane. It is manufactured from special grades of bitumen, suitably blended with other additives. It has semiliquid consistency and is ready to use

FOR SILKY WALLS MAGNISILK “MAGNICRETE-MAGNISILK” for Silky Finish Walls – Freedom from Flaking and Saving on Paint. “MAGNISILK" is a water-resistant white cement-based dry mix powder which provides a strong base on concrete and plaster both on Internal and External surfaces and ceilings. It is applied after plaster and before painting of the wall. It fills the fine pores of the walls and ceilings, thereby providing a white, smooth and dry surface for painting. Being water resistant it provides a protective base to surfaces which prevents expensive paint from flaking. Dr. Fixit Torchshield Primer.Dr. Fixit Torchshield Primer is a solvent based bitumen modified primer conforming to ASTM D/41, to be used to seal and prepare the substrate prior to the installation of the Dr. Fixit Torchshield torch-on and Dr. Fixit Samshield, self adhesive membranes. In addition to that, it also acts as a binder for the dust particles which gets accumulated on the concrete surface even after cleaning. Typical Applications Ensure that the surface to be primed is dry and free from dust, oil, paint, curing compounds and any other contaminating materials. Stir contents well before use.
