BM SEAL is a superior grade bituminous waterproofing membrane manufactured by blending a mixture of bitumen and SBS (Styrene Butadiene Styrene) polymers are reinforced with non-woven polyester mat having thermo fusible polyethylene film on both sides. They have phenomenal waterproofing qualities alongside exquisite mechanical properties such as tensile strength, tear strength and puncture resistance. They provide good UV resistance and are quite durable.

Asian Paints SmartCare Waterproofing Membrane is a APP modified glass fiber sheet reinforced bituminous membrane for superior waterproofing. This membrane exhibits excellent tensile strength, tear strength, puncture resistance and dimensional stability. The torch side of the membrane is covered with polyethylene film for protection of the membrane.

Description Dr. Fixit Samshield XL is a SBS self adhesive waterproofing membrane based on a tropical grade of polymer modified bitumen. The bitumen compound is laminated onto an impervious, non-perforated, HDPE Valeron® film. The membrane is protected on the self adhesive side with a silicone coated release film. Typical Applications Dr. Fixit Samshield XL used as waterproofing and damp proofing intended for concrete protection. It may be used for horizontal and vertical application and as a damp proofing course for tanking below ground structures, subways, retaining walls etc. Features } Specially formulated for tropical climate grade. } Provides protection against water and vapour. } Self adhesive, requires just peeling off the silicone film and sticking to the surface. } Excellent adhesion to vertical and horizontal surfaces. } Excellent resistance to chlorides, sulphates, alkalis and acids. } Good tear and puncture resistance. } Excellent tensile strength. Method of Application Application procedure may vary slightly depending upon site conditions. The general recommended guidelines for the application of the self adhesive waterproofing system are as follows: 1 SURFACE PREPARATION The surface shall be cleaned thoroughly of all contaminants like dust, traces of curing compound, oil and grease. All surface imperfections, protrusions, structurally unsound and friable concrete must be removed and repaired with a suitable concrete repair mortar. 2 PRIMING Apply Dr. Fixit Torchshield Primer @ 4-6 sq.mtrs./litre to a clean, smooth and dry surface by brush or roller. Allow the primer to dry prior to the application of the membrane. As the viscosity of the primer is low, it easily penetrates into the concrete pores which promote the adhesion between the membrane and the concrete surface. In addition to that the primer also acts as a binder for the dust which gets accumulated on the concrete surface even after cleaning. 3 ALIGNMENT Start the installation of all membrane plies from the low point, so that the flow of water is over or parallel to the plies, but never against the laps. Begin membrane application by unrolling the roll of Dr. Fixit Samshield XL membrane and aligning the side laps. Application Peel off the release film from the self adhesive side and start unrolling the membrane and press it to the surface. Smoothen the membrane from the center to the edges with a wooden press in order to remove entrapped air. Furthermore, an iron roller shall be used for rolling on top of the applied membrane to ensure a proper and strong adhesion of the bitumen compound with the base surface. Side overlaps shall be a minimum of 75 mm on the selvedge and end overlaps 100 mm.

Dr. Fixit Prebond membrane is a preformed HDPE fully bonded membrane that bonds to the wet concrete cast on the membrane. After the membrane bonds with the concrete it forms an integral seal which prevents lateral water migration and makes it unaffected by any substrate settlement below the slabs. Reinforcement can be directly laid on top of the membrane and it does not require screed protection. Dr. Fixit Prebond is a unique HDPE membrane comprising of a virgin HDPE layer and a pressure sensitive adhesive layer which is covered by a weather proof protective layer. The adhesive layer is activated when the concrete is poured on the membrane and it enables the membrane bond to underside of the concrete which prevents the ingress of water into the structure as well as prevents tracking of water between the membrane and the structure and provide a positive side protection against ingress of sub soil water. Dr. Fixit Prebond can be used for horizontal as well as vertical blind side application.

Method of Application
Dr. Fixit Prebond membranes are supplied in rolls of 2.0 m or 2.4 m wide, with a selvedge of 75 mm on one side to provide self-adhered laps for continuity between rolls. The rolls of Prebond membrane and Prebond Tape are inter-wound with a disposable plastic release liner which must be removed before placing reinforcement and concrete.

BM SELF AL is a cold applied self-adhesive, flexible, waterproofing and protection membrane made from rubber modified bitumen compound with Aluminum surfaced solar reflective film on its upper side as protection layer. It has a detachable silicone film on the underside.

Bm Board / Bm Board A Are Polymer Modified Bituminous Waterproofing Membrane, Which Are Reinforced With Glass Fiber Manufactured From A Mixture Of Bitumen And Selected Polymers. They Are Guarded With Two Sides Thermo Fusible Polyethylene Film On Both Sides, Enhanced With Supreme Waterproofing Qualities, Coupled With Excellent Properties Such As Dimensional Stability And Puncture Resistance. They Have Good Uv Resistance And Are Quite Durable.
