For the reinstatement of concrete in small localised patch repairs. Renderoc S2 is alkaline in nature and will protect embedded steel reinforcement. It is specially designed for location where high compressive strengths are required. The mortar is suitable where superior resistance is required to chlorides and carbon dioxide. Description Renderoc S2 is supplied as a grey powder along with a liquid polymer and has to be mixed with water on site to produce a highly consistent, high strength repair mortar. The material is based on carefully blended cement, graded fi llers and chemical additives and is polymer modifi ed to provide a mortar with good handling characteristics, while minimising water demand. The hardened product exhibits excellent thermal compatibility with concrete and outstanding water requirement ensures fast strength gain and long-term durability. Design criteria Renderoc S2 is designed for vertical or horizontal applications. It can be applied from a minimum of 5mm to 15mm thickness in vertical sections. Higher thicknesses can be achieved by the use of formwork. Thicker sections can be built up in layers. In horizontal locations Renderoc S2 can be applied up to 50mm thickness. The cured mortar is highly impermeable to acidic gases, chloride ions, oxygen and water.

Quantity Coverage:- The addition of 3-4 litres of water to a 40kgs bag of ACC BAGCRETE according to the site requirements & workability will produce around 18 litres of concrete, enough for a rectangular slab measuring 500mm ×500mm × 75 mm or it’s equivalent. Mixing Instructions:- A) Concrete Mixer 1) Put most of the 3-4 litres of water per 40kgs bag of ACC BAGCRETE dry mix into the mixer bowl & start mixer. 2) Gradually add ACC BAGCRETE dry mix while the mixer is rotating. 3) Add the remaining water only if necessary. B) Hand Mixing:- 1) Empty the ACC BAGCRETE dry mix bag into a wheel barrow, bucket or flat clean surface. Measure 3-4 litres of clean water per 40kg bag. 2) Gradually add the water on stages, mixing thoroughly with a spade or similar after each addition of water. 3) Check on the consistency of the concrete. Use no more water than is necessary to allow the concrete to be easily placed & finished. Quality Assurance:- The product confirms to BIS Specifications& standards. The perimeter of the area should be saw cut to a depth of 10 mm and the edges cut as neatly as possible keeping the sides squares. Feather edging is not permitted and a minimum thickness of 10 mm must be maintained over the whole repair area. £ If reinforcement is exposed in the repair area, it should be cleaned to remove all the rust particles by mechanical means like metal wire brush or abrasive blasting. £ Cathodic protection to the reinforcement steel can be provided by applying Dr. Fixit Epoxy Zinc Primer to the cleaned steel bar uniformly. Severely corroded reinforcement may require replacement and the engineer must be consulted

In simple terms, the water rises up the wall of a building in the same way that oil rises up through the wick of a lamp. Older buildings are affected by rising damp to some degree or another.

The moisture will continue to rise until it reaches a height where, unless no evaporation is possible, gravity takes over and pulls it down again.

The most common forms of rising damp treatment usually involves the injection of a siliconate type chemical either in the form of solution or cream. This is usually done by drilling holes in a band around the affected wall and injecting the recommended chemical or cream solution.
