DESCRIPTION CEMSCREED FAIRING COAT is a single-component, acrylic polymer-modified, cement-based fairing coat. It is designed for thin layer applications onto concrete surfaces. Its primary use is to prepare concrete surfaces prior to the application of a protective coating system. Surface irregularities of up to 3mm can be filled with a scrape coat application. It is ideally suited for filling blowholes and all surface blemishes. The use of specially selected and formulated polymers means subsequent curing of CEMSCREED FAIRING COAT is generally not required for internal applications. USES < CEMSCREED FAIRING COAT can be used as a 'skim' coat prior to the application of protective coatings. < As a fairing coat to cover and improve blemishes in concrete surfaces, such as slight honeycombing, blowholes, defects caused by 'sand runs,' patch repairs, shutter movement, and grout loss. < As a preparatory treatment to concrete surfaces before applying a thin-film protective coating. < To produce a uniform surface over repaired areas. < For general reprofiling over large areas, up to 3 mm depth.

Ensure the surface is clean and dry, free of loose particles. For effective and long term waterproofing, brush or roll Zycosil Max solution S1 as per table 1 in the recommended dilution ratio on the area to be treated till saturation, to ensure up to 4 mm penetration into the substrate. Zycosil Max is best applied at ambient temperatures of 10 °C to 35 °C. We recommend that the application be done in the morning or evening hours, to avoid peak heat of the sun. ZycoBond Max solution should be applied on the Zycosil Max treated surface wet-on-wet. Cracks & honeycombs should be treated till saturation using solution S2 as per table 1 Drying Zycosil Max treated surfaces becomes waterproof only after the water dries off completely. Check waterproofing by splashing water on the treated surface. If the water droplets remain for at least 10 to 15 minutes, waterproofing and surface curing is confirmed. For semi-wet areas and during rainy seasons, the procedure for Zycosil Max waterproofing application is as follows: Depending on surface wetness and residual water absorption capacity, Zycosil Max should be diluted with water in the ratio of 1 : 4 to 1 : 10. Overcoat ZycoBond Max solution wet-on-wet as usual. For quick and complete drying, use halogen lamp or hot blower on the surface. Confirm waterproofing on horizontal or vertical surface with RILEM test. The dilution ratio and the exposure time with the halogen lamp must be decided by the applicator depending on the site conditions

Primer 20 is a high performance single component chemically active, non-toxic liquid for brush application to prime porous surfaces. Advantages Easy to Apply Strong adhesion Application Open tin lid. Mix thoroughly until a homogeneous dispersion is achieved. Apply one thin coat using a clean dry brush. Avoid over application of primer causing puddles in the bottom of the joint. Sealants should be applied between 30 minutes and 4 hours after priming when its tack free. Cleaning Clean equipment immediately after use with Fosroc Solvent 102. Estimating Supply Primer 20: 500 ml can Coverage Primer 20: 4 - 5 m2 / ltr Storage Shelf life 12 months if stored in the original unopened packs in a cool dry place. Do not store in direct sunlight. Precautions Health and safety Primer 20 is flammable liquid. Shall be stored away from heat. and shall not be used near a naked flame. Skin contact shall be avoided. Eye protection and impervious rubber or PVC gloves shall be worn. Splashes must be washed off immediately. Prolonged breathing of vapour shall be avoided. Hands shall be washed thoroughly before eating or smoking. In the case of eye contact, medical attention shall be sought immediately. Disposal Dispose according to local authority regulations.
