Remove all oil, dirt, laitance and other contaminants by water blasting. Water blasting is preferred for surface preparation because it mechanically cleans and roughens the surface, is environmentally safer and leaves the surface saturated with water. Surface must be damp for application of Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system, concentrate. New concrete After forms are stripped, acid etch or sand blast / water blast to facilitate penetration of crystals formed during the chemical reaction. Surface must be left damp for application on Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system. Construction joints, cold joints and non-leaking joints greater than 0.25mm wide must be cut in V-groove shape and fi lled with Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system in mortar consistency. Mixing For best results, clean, potable water should be added to Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system concentrate. Application Existing concrete 3 parts of powder shall be added to 1 part of clean and mixed thoroughly with a slow speed drill equipped with a paddle. For larger batches, mixing shall be done with a mortar mixer. Do not mix more material than can be used in 20 minutes @ 270C, 50% R.H. If mixture thickens, it shall be restirred to reduce consistency. Extra water should not be added. Curing and Protecting Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system application must be kept moist for a minimum of 48 hours. After initial set, moist curing, using continuous water spray is recommended. Treated surfaces shall be fog sprayed 3 to 4 times daily for the 48 hour period. For warmer climates, more frequent spraying may be required. It is important to keep the Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system moist to allow the crystal formation to occur. The surfaces shall be protected from foot traffi c for 48 hours or heavy traffi c for 7 days.

Nitobond AR is recommended as a curing membrane for Renderoc repairs. Nitobond AR can also be used as a bonding agent for Patchroc and Paveroc products (refer to the product TDS). Application The Nitobond AR is to be sprayed on to the surface of the finished mortar in a continuous film. Large areas should be cured as trowelling progresses (0.5m² at a time) without waiting for completion of the entire area. In fast drying conditions, supplementary curing with polythene sheeting taped down at the edges must be used. In cold conditions, the finished repair must be protected from freezing. Cleaning Wash all equipment with clean water immediately after use.

Renderoc FC cementitious fairing coat is designed for application in thin layers to produce a fair-faced appearance to concrete surfaces or masonry surfaces in readiness to receive a protective/decorative coating. Surface imperfections up to 3 mm in depth can be filled with the scrape coat application. Voids of greater depth should be separately filled as a prior operation, again limiting the material thickness to 3 mm. However, Renderoc FC can be used as blowhole filler up to 10 mm deep. Renderoc FC can also be used independently to infill surface imperfections and voids or to render large sections of concrete, brickwork or masonry at up to 3 mm thickness. It can also be used in association with other Renderoc mortars. Under normal conditions, the product does not require an independent primer or curing membrane. Advantages   Easy to use - no independent primer or curing membrane necessary.   Excellent bond to the concrete substrate.   Pre-blend to overcome site-batched variations - only the site addition of clean water is required.   Contains no chloride admixtures. Description Renderoc FC cementitious fairing coat is supplied as a ready to use blend of dry powders which requires only the site addition of clean water to produce a highly consistent cementitious fairing mortar. The addition of Nitobond SBR to the gauging water will further improve the performance characteristics of Renderoc FC. The material is based on a blend of cements, graded aggregates, special fillers and chemical additives to provide a material with good handling characteristics, while minimising water demand. The product exhibit excellent thermal compatibility with concrete and is fully compatible with other Renderoc mortars and Dekguard coatings. Any excess sealer that gets on the surface should be wiped off with a clean towel before it dries. Be careful not to allow the sealer to puddle or dry.  Repeat the above step for a second coat of the sealer. Please note that if the first coat is applied properly very less material will be required in the second coat.  Light buffing may be required to even-out/remove the excess sealer and wipe of the brush marks if any.  Avoid traffic on the surface for 24-72 hours. In case, traffic is unavoidable, cover the surface with a porous cloth or mattress.  After the prescribed time the surface is ready to use. Notes:  Before sealing any surface, test several inconspicuous test patches to assure maximum performance. Client has to determine the suitability of the product for the intended use.  To protect adjoining areas, masking tapes to be used for the surface area to be sealed.  Store StoneShield Solv in the original container, properly sealed to avoid contamination and solvent evaporation. A simple application of Guard Slip Resistant® makes slippery surfaces non-slip. All anti-slip products currently on the market depend on varying concentrations of hydrofluoric acid as their essential component. This component is an extremely corrosive acid that acts by destroying the silica. All generally slippery materials are inorganic materials containing greater or lesser amounts of silica, which takes the form of crystals. 1 - Untreated substrate When a product based on hydrofluoric acid is applied to a substrate, these crystals are destroyed and leave holes which will create a «suction» action. The main problem with this approach is that it requires the use of anti-slip products that are highly dangerous to handle and that often significantly alter the appearance of the substrate, while encouraging a build-up of dirt because the holes quickly become f illed with dirt and dust. NOT HARMFUL EVEN TO FRAGILE SUBSTRATES INTERIOR AND EXTERIOR 2- Substrate treated with a hydrofluoric acid Guard Slip Resistant® is a revolutionary product which also makes use of the silica contained in the materials but which uses a chemical reaction to effectively graft new molecules onto the substrate molecules. DESCRIPTION Sikagard®-63 is a solvent free, two part, total solid, coloured epoxy resin based high build thixotropic protective coating with high chemical resistance. It can be used on many types of structures or elements such as cementitious, metallic and epoxy resin binder substrates. The chemical resistant properties provide surface protection from aggressive chemicals that can cause rapid degradation. It is used for waterproofing of concrete & cementitious vertical walls of building because it penetrate deeply into the substrate & provides an effective water repellent protective coating. Method of Application 1 SURFACE PREPERATION } Surface should be dry and free from all debris, dirt, oil, grease, wax and all other contamination, which could prevent penetration. } Clean the saturated dirt of surface by thorough wire brushing, cleaning with compressed air followed by water washing. } Degrease oil & grease by using solvents like turpentine or thinners. } Allow the surface to dry completely before the application. } Seal the cracks with Dr Fixit Crack - X powder. } Thorough wire brushing followed by sanding with emery paper is recommended. } Remove the existing paint, neroo or instant lime, etc. while treating internal damp walls. 2 APPLICATION } Apply one liberal coat of Dr. Fixit Repellin WR, simply by brushing evenly on the prepared surface. Allow the surface to dry for a minimum of 24 hrs for best results. } Dr. Fixit Repellin WR can also be applied with an airless spray (0.07 - 0.1 N/mm2 pressure). } Apply second coat wet on wet , to improve the penetration rate & performance. } Allow it to dry for 24 hrs.
