Treat any areas affected by Algae, moss or fungal growth with biocide wash solution. The surface to be checked for cracks, hollowness and loose plastered areas etc if any. All loose plaster and cracks larger than 10 mm width to be repaired with polymer modified mortar using Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP. The cracks up to 5 mm to be treated with Dr. Fixit Crack-X Paste and the larger ones up to 10 mm with Dr. Fixit Crack-X Shrinkfree. Priming After the proper surface preparation and curing of repaired areas wash the surface well and maintaining it in saturated surface dry condition proceed for priming using Dr. Fixit Primeseal diluted in 2:1 ratio with water (2 parts Primeseal diluted with 1 part water). Maintain the spreading rate of 8-10 sq mtr per litre for a single coat application to achieve about 20 – 25 microns DFT. Remove all oil, dirt, laitance and other contaminants by water blasting. Water blasting is preferred for surface preparation because it mechanically cleans and roughens the surface, is environmentally safer and leaves the surface saturated with water. Surface must be damp for application of Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system, concentrate. New concrete After forms are stripped, acid etch or sand blast / water blast to facilitate penetration of crystals formed during the chemical reaction. Surface must be left damp for application on Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system. Construction joints, cold joints and non-leaking joints greater than 0.25mm wide must be cut in V-groove shape and fi lled with Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system in mortar consistency. Mixing For best results, clean, potable water should be added to Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system concentrate. Application Existing concrete 3 parts of powder shall be added to 1 part of clean and mixed thoroughly with a slow speed drill equipped with a paddle. For larger batches, mixing shall be done with a mortar mixer. Do not mix more material than can be used in 20 minutes @ 270C, 50% R.H. If mixture thickens, it shall be restirred to reduce consistency. Extra water should not be added. Curing and Protecting Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system application must be kept moist for a minimum of 48 hours. After initial set, moist curing, using continuous water spray is recommended. Treated surfaces shall be fog sprayed 3 to 4 times daily for the 48 hour period. For warmer climates, more frequent spraying may be required. It is important to keep the Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system moist to allow the crystal formation to occur. The surfaces shall be protected from foot traffi c for 48 hours or heavy traffi c for 7 days.

Algae and fungus on the wall to be removed, by using high-pressure wash or coir brush and shall be treated with fungicidal solution. All surface cracks up to 5 mm width should be filled up with Dr. Fixit Crack-X paste. Cracks more than 5 mm and all separation gaps should be filled up with Dr. Fixit Pidicrete URP modified mortar or as specified. 2 APPLICATION For Vertical Surface Fresh Plaster Or Repainting: Use Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo directly from the container. Stir contents well before use. Brush / roller apply a self-priming coat of Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo on the vertical wall surface in SSD condition, diluting 1 litre coating with 100ml clean portable water. Allow it to dry for 4 -6 hours. Apply a coat of Dr. Fixit Raincoat Neo without dilution as waterproof top coat, either by roller or brush with force coverage at the rate of 3.7 - 4.1 Sq mtr / litre to achieve DFT of 100 - 110 microns. Allow it to dry for 4 -6 hours. * Lighter shades of white base on the top of dark colours need additional coat for finishing. An additional coat should be applied in case of horizontal surfaces like the top of windows, ledges, parapet wall, etc. Allow the coating to full air cure for 7 days.

Surface Preparation   Allow new concrete and masonry substrate to fully cure prior application.   All surfaces must be free from oil, grease, wax, dirt or any other form of foreign matter which might effect adhesion.
