Remove all oil, dirt, laitance and other contaminants by water blasting. Water blasting is preferred for surface preparation because it mechanically cleans and roughens the surface, is environmentally safer and leaves the surface saturated with water. Surface must be damp for application of Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system, concentrate. New concrete After forms are stripped, acid etch or sand blast / water blast to facilitate penetration of crystals formed during the chemical reaction. Surface must be left damp for application on Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system. Construction joints, cold joints and non-leaking joints greater than 0.25mm wide must be cut in V-groove shape and fi lled with Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system in mortar consistency. Mixing For best results, clean, potable water should be added to Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system concentrate. Application Existing concrete 3 parts of powder shall be added to 1 part of clean and mixed thoroughly with a slow speed drill equipped with a paddle. For larger batches, mixing shall be done with a mortar mixer. Do not mix more material than can be used in 20 minutes @ 270C, 50% R.H. If mixture thickens, it shall be restirred to reduce consistency. Extra water should not be added. Curing and Protecting Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system application must be kept moist for a minimum of 48 hours. After initial set, moist curing, using continuous water spray is recommended. Treated surfaces shall be fog sprayed 3 to 4 times daily for the 48 hour period. For warmer climates, more frequent spraying may be required. It is important to keep the Brushbond TGP* crystalline waterproofi ng system moist to allow the crystal formation to occur. The surfaces shall be protected from foot traffi c for 48 hours or heavy traffi c for 7 days.

Nitobond AR is recommended as a curing membrane for Renderoc repairs. Nitobond AR can also be used as a bonding agent for Patchroc and Paveroc products (refer to the product TDS). Nitobond AR has a VOC content of 13.5g / litre. Application Instructions Preparation All surfaces should be clean and free from dust and contamination. Application The Nitobond AR is to be sprayed on to the surface of the finished mortar in a continuous film. Large areas should be cured as trowelling progresses (0.5m² at a time) without waiting for completion of the entire area. In fast drying conditions, supplementary curing with polythene sheeting taped down at the edges must be used. In cold conditions, the finished repair must be protected from freezing. Cleaning Wash all equipment with clean water immediately after use.

Renderoc FC cementitious fairing coat is designed for application in thin layers to produce a fair-faced appearance to concrete surfaces or masonry surfaces in readiness to receive a protective/decorative coating. Surface imperfections up to 3 mm in depth can be filled with the scrape coat application. Voids of greater depth should be separately filled as a prior operation, again limiting the material thickness to 3 mm. However, Renderoc FC can be used as blowhole filler up to 10 mm deep. Renderoc FC can also be used independently to infill surface imperfections and voids or to render large sections of concrete, brickwork or masonry at up to 3 mm thickness. It can also be used in association with other Renderoc mortars. Under normal conditions, the product does not require an independent primer or curing membrane. Advantages   Easy to use - no independent primer or curing membrane necessary.   Excellent bond to the concrete substrate.   Pre-blend to overcome site-batched variations - only the site addition of clean water is required.   Contains no chloride admixtures. Description Renderoc FC cementitious fairing coat is supplied as a ready to use blend of dry powders which requires only the site addition of clean water to produce a highly consistent cementitious fairing mortar. The addition of Nitobond SBR to the gauging water will further improve the performance characteristics of Renderoc FC. The material is based on a blend of cements, graded aggregates, special fillers and chemical additives to provide a material with good handling characteristics, while minimising water demand. The product exhibit excellent thermal compatibility with concrete and is fully compatible with other Renderoc mortars and Dekguard coatings. Directions for Use:  Surface must be dry and free of contaminants, including previously applied sealers, dirt, lime & hard water deposits, efflorescence, rust & other heavy dirt and grime.  Clean the surface with ample water or with suitable cleaners.  Once the area has completely dried, proceed with the sealing of the surface for water and stain resistance.  Apply StoneShield Solv to the entire surface also covering the grout with a paint brush. Any excess sealer that gets on the surface should be wiped off with a clean towel before it dries. Be careful not to allow the sealer to puddle or dry.  Repeat the above step for a second coat of the sealer. Please note that if the first coat is applied properly very less material will be required in the second coat.  Light buffing may be required to even-out/remove the excess sealer and wipe of the brush marks if any.  Avoid traffic on the surface for 24-72 hours. In case, traffic is unavoidable, cover the surface with a porous cloth or mattress.  After the prescribed time the surface is ready to use. Notes:  Before sealing any surface, test several inconspicuous test patches to assure maximum performance. Client has to determine the suitability of the product for the intended use.  To protect adjoining areas, masking tapes to be used for the surface area to be sealed.  Store StoneShield Solv in the original container, properly sealed to avoid contamination and solvent evaporation.
