Description Concure WB water based concrete curing compound is based on a low viscosity wax emulsion. It is supplied as a white emulsion which forms a clear film on drying. When first applied to a fresh cementitious surface the emulsion breaks to form a continuous, non-penetrating white coating. This dries to form a continuous clear film which provides a barrier to moisture loss, ensuring more efficient cement hydration, improved durability and reduced shrinkage. Concure WB is also available in a white pigmented version. It contains a white pigment based on titanium dioxide to meet specifications requiring such pigmentation for reduction of solar temperature gain.

Applied surfaces can be easily identified due to white pigment. Only single coat is sufficient for complete curing process eliminating the water curing. FAIRCURE WC works on impregnation technology so after application need not to remove the same . After 24 hours of drying ,the surface can be paintable, can do cement/gypsum plaster on the surface where FAIRCURE WC applied. PROPERTIES Specific Gravity : 1.100 ± 0.005 Moisture Loss : < 0.55 kg/m² ( As per ASTM C 156) Reflectance : > 60% ( As per ASTM E 1347) APPLICATION Surface Preparation: n FAIRCURE WC should be applied as quickly as possible on fresh concrete. n Do not apply if bleeding water is present on surface. n Application should begin as soon as the concrete is free from surface water. Application: FAIRCURE WC should be stir before use to ensure dispersion of settled material. Apply in a continuous film using a high volume low pressure spray. At the time of spraying, nozzle of spray should be held approximately 450 mm from the concrete surface and should be sprayed evenly on the concrete surface. After spraying, no further application of water or other material is necessary to ensure further curing. When used as a curing aid, apply to edges after forms are removed under the conditions of excessive heat or drying wind, polythene, sheet may be used to cover the surface after application of FAIRCURE WC. SPECIAL NOTES n Do not dilute FAIRCURE WC n Do not use sprayers, which have been used to spray silicones or release agents n When applying, leave no dry spots in order to have homogenous performance. Touch up where necessary. n Applications under high-humidity conditions may produce a slippery film. Cracks if present shall be sealed/repaired with CRACKSEAL. Stirring should be done during application. Mixing : WATERGUARD A should preferably be mixed mechanically by using an electrical drill with paddle attachment. Pour the liquid polymer in the container first and add powder slowly while mixing continuously until an even homogeneous mix is obtained. Application : The prepared surface must be thoroughly wetted with water for absorption and excess water to be removed. WATERGUARD A must be applied in 2-3 uniform coats. Mixed WATERGUARD A will remain brushable for 20 minutes @35ºC. Apply second or subsequent coats after previous coat has dried. Mixing in small quantities is recommended. For moderate & heavy load areas minimum 2mm thickness coating is recommended. Cleaning :All tools must be cleaned with water immediately after use. Hardened material should be removed mechanically. Curing: After application it is essential to cure WATERGUARD A applied surface for minimum of 3-5 days for full cure and minimize cracking. The materials is based on Portland cement, graded aggregates, fillers and additives which impart controlled expansion characteristics in the plastic stage while minimising water demand. The low water requirement ensures high early strength and long-term durability. For larger repairs, mixed CEMSCREED HM (F) can be modified by the addition of 12 mm clean, graded, saturated, surface dry aggregates at site. PROPERTIES Expansion (unrestrained) : 0.8 - 1.5% by volume Fresh wet density : 2200 kg/m³ The following test results were obtained at different water/powder ratio. APPLICATION Surface Preparation : The unrestrained surface of the repair should be kept to a minimum. Defective concrete surface should be cut back to a sound base. Smooth surface should be mechanically roughed. Corroded reinforcement should be exposed around its full circumference and remove all loose scale and corrosion deposits. Application : Apply one coat of SAFECORE R to the exposed reinforcement. If any discontinuity in the applied film is noticed, one more coat has to be applied. The concrete substrates should be saturated with water, prior to immediate placing. Free water should be removed priming the substrate using FAIRBOND EP, a slow setting epoxy bonding aid, should be applied on dry substrate. Formwork : Formwork should be leak-proof when subjected to hydraulic pressure imposed by the micro concrete. Provision should be made for air vents to prevent air entrapment, drainage outlets for presoaking. Formwork should be coated with SETRELEASE, mould releasing agent prior to fixing. Mixing And Placing : Care should be taken to ensure that CEMSCREED HM (F) is thoroughly mixed in suitably sized drum with a torque (400-500 RPM) rotary drill fitted with a mixing paddle. The addition of graded aggregate where specified should be added after the water and CEMSCREED HM (F) should beproperly mixed. Placing : The mixed material should be placed immediately. If placed by pump, standard concrete pumping should be followed. Curing : Curing should start within 2 hours and minimum curing time should be same as that for concrete (7 days) as a cementitious material. Low Temperature : In cold conditions down to 15 ºC, the use of warm water (up to 30 ºC) is advisable to accelerate strength development.

Removal of lubricant and partial dissolution of the surfaces should be done using Tangit Cleaner and tissue paper. Measure the fitting insertion depth (area dimension that is to be bonded) and mark it on the pipe end so that the application of the required amount of solvent cement and the complete insertion of the pipe can be checked. Spray Tangit Cleaner onto pieces of white soft paper, e.g. tissue paper, and thoroughly clean the dry marked surfaces. Use a new piece of tissue paper for each cleaning operation. The cleaned surfaces must be dry before applying the solvent cement. Any moisture (including ice) must be removed by careful heating / warming process. Application: Apply solvent cement evenly and quickly around the outside of the pipe at a width a little greater than the depth of the fitting socket. Apply a light coat of cement evenly around the inside of the fitting socket. Avoid pudding. Apply a second coat of cement to the pipe end. If the customer required, we can provide user guide to Solvent Cementing PVC and CPVC Plastic Pipe and Fittings. Curing: Wipe off any excess cement and leave the joint undisturbed for at least half an hour (one to two hours in cold weather). Cement solvent weld should reach full joint strength and be suitable for use within 24 hours, depending upon temperature and humidity. Packaging Lapox® Ultrabond UPVC is available in 20 ml, 50 ml & 118 ml pack. Storage and handling Lapox® Ultrabond UPVC, when stored in their original containers and not exposed to undue heat or humidity as in outdoor open shades, will have a minimum shelf life of 1 year. As far as possible, direct contact of Lapox® Ultrabond UPVC with the skin and eye should be avoided as they might cause irritant on sensitive skins. APPLICATION PROCEDURE As a bonding agent • To obtain good adhesion it is necessary to have a clean and sound substrate, which can be obtained by grinding, wire brushing, chipping, sandblasting, etc. • Mix Epibond-11 thoroughly in the prescribed proportion and apply on the clean, sound and dry substrate. • Apply concrete/cement plaster/ gunite on the tacky Epibond-11 layer, which would be achieved approximately after 30 minutes of application and under any circumstances within one hour. • Best results are obtained when w/c ratio of the new concrete is as low as practicable. As a epoxy mortar • Mix Part A Epibond-11and Part B Epibond-11 in the ratio of 1:1 by weight in a clean plastic container. • Stir thoroughly for 5 – 10 minutes so as to achieve a uniform mix. • Add component C – Graded Quartz filler slowly and mix thoroughly to achieve a uniform mortar mix. • The mortar (A+B+C) after mixing shall be used within 30 minutes hence it is ideal to use small mixes at a time. • Before application of mortar the surface to be primed with bond coat of Epibond-11 neat coating. • It is important to clean, degrease and abrade the substrate thoroughly before applying the bond coat using mechanical wire brushes. As an anti-corrosive coating Mix Epibond-11 Base & Curing agent in prescribed proportion by weight and allow it to remain for 10 minutes before application. Apply 2-3 coats of Epibond-11 with a time interval of 24 hours between coats.
